Pharmacy First
Pharmacy First is an NHS service that lets you get advice, assessment, and treatment for a range of common conditions directly from your local pharmacist – without needing a GP appointment. Consultations take place in a private room with a trained healthcare professional.
Pharmacists can assess conditions such as sore throat, earache, sinusitis, infected insect bites, impetigo, shingles, and uncomplicated UTIs in women. Where appropriate, NHS treatment or medication can be supplied on the day, helping you get care quickly and conveniently.

Contraception
Contraception Service provides safe, confidential access to contraception and expert advice directly from your local pharmacy, without needing a GP appointment. Our trained pharmacists can support you in choosing the option that best suits your health, lifestyle, and preferences, with consultations held in a private room.
We can provide ongoing oral contraception (such as the combined pill and progestogen-only pill), emergency contraception where appropriate, and clear guidance on correct use, side effects, and what to do if pills are missed. If your needs are more complex, we’ll make sure you’re signposted to the right service.

Self-Test Kits
Self-Test Kits are available to purchase in our pharmacy, offering a convenient and discreet way to check for common health conditions from the comfort of your own home. Each kit is clearly labelled, easy to use, and comes with full instructions to guide you through the process.
Our range includes tests such as vitamin D, iron deficiency, thyroid function, menopause, and stomach ulcer (H. pylori) and more. These tests are designed for screening and reassurance, helping you decide whether further advice or investigation may be needed.
If a result is positive, unclear, or you have ongoing symptoms, our pharmacists are happy to talk things through and advise on next steps, including whether you should contact your GP.
